Tek 465B Scope Deal

Today a buddy at work offered to sell me his Tektronix 465B scope for
$250.  He claims it is in excellent shape and I trust his word.   I need
a better scope than my 922T.  So what I'm wondering if this is a good
deal or not.  Also, can anyone suggest a better scope I could be looking
at in that price range.
