WOW! That sounds complicated. I don't want to spend
too much time on it, but if you say... I have access
to a variac and also a Scope-meter thingy. If the
variac is at max and the motor still doesn't sync
should I cut off some more material? If the sound
coming from the motor is smooth and I have flats cut
already am I okay or do I have to use a meter?
