NST Cases and Cores, Counterpoise?

Hi All,

I took a look at my 6" this morning and found that I had been running 
without a ground connection.  The RF ground thus consisted of the two 
12/60s and RSG motor case tied to it.  The coil was working the best that I 
had seen it, producing at one point, dual 36" streamers.  I thought that I 
had the power ground hooked up, as I haden't driven the ground stake by the 
driveway yet.(diggers hotline required)  I hope I didn't hurt the NSTs or 
gap motor with a short to neutral.
