if you are in adelaide,  then contact ETSA's pole transformer 
department.  I dont think it was as expensive as that.

Hello, I have had lots of trouble finding mineral oil in australia =
(brisbane). The best i could do was 20L of transformer oil for $80AU =
from Shell oils, however this is way too pricey for my budget. Only form =
of mineral oil I can find is baby oil, which has aloe vera, scents, and =
other water-laden stuff in it. Plus a 250ml bottle is like $4Au. Any =
idea if i can use car transmission oil or something else? Or where I =
might find mineral oil in decent quantaties?
