Newfound Respect 4 MOTs!!!

Following Greg's design for a MOT supply, I did a little playing
tonight.

I only have one MOT, so I just built 1/2 of his basic supply.

Hooking it up to my Jacobs Ladder (my Std. Test Bench) to see what I
could get out of a single MOT.

It took me a little to realize why, no matter how I adjusted the Brazing
Rods I have as verticals, kept coming out of adjustment and shorting
out!!!

They were melting!!! Within 10-15 seconds the arc generated enough heat
to start melting my 800 degree melting point rods!!!! WOW!!!!!! Never
had that happen with NST's!!!

I can hardly wait to get that 6-pack going!!

Anyone have some spare MOTs they'd be willing to part with for ???. I've
been scrounging, but in the homeless capital of California picking have
been real slim!! What line seems to work best at appliance repair
shops?? The one I found the little old man behind the counter just
looked at me real funny and pointed to the not-so-cheap used ones in the
corner!!! Anyone got a fool-proof line??
