Much smaller core... at 400 Hz, you don't need as much iron in the core.  It
will saturate at a much lower voltage (i.e. 110 * 60/400) volts.  400 Hz is
widely used on aircraft, for just this reason.  (And you thought they did it
to create that really annoying whine on an airplane...)
