`TC abbriviations/variables

Hello everyone,

with all the OLTC stuff going on, and the talk about the math of it and such, 
I think it is relevant to ask if someone could name off some of the TC 
abbriviations/variables...
Like Q and K and such? What do they mean? I think K is coupling.

This would be very helpful to some of us who aren't familiar with the math of 
coils yet.
