wow, that seems a bit excessive. i cut out a 1/4 inch plexiglass disk
using a compass and a coping saw. befor cutting i had also used the
compass to figure out the hole positions which were then drilled with a
cordless drill. i put the disk on the motor and used a file to take off
the rough spots and smooth it round as the motor spun. then i took the
disk off and drilled out the electrode holes.
this setup has worked for about 6 months with only slight vibration. i
have all intentions to rebuild it as this was only a temperary solution.
but even then i dont think i will go through that much trouble. if
anything, when i order the material to make the disk i can have the place
i buy it from do it for me.
