In THEORY, the Cadillac CAN work, but not on it's own.
A separate source of GROUND still needs to be attached
to the vehicle frame. Since this will cause the vehicle
body to become a Faraday shield, only a regular Earth
ground should be necessary. Just drive a rod into the
water table next to the vehicle, and assert some form
of bonding jumper between the vehicle frame, and the rod.
After the festivities are over, the rod can be pulled
using a piece of pipe and a comealong, and stored for
later use.
