It will run without the ground. Providing an
explicit ground, at these power levels, would
be preferred. Else, the table will 'float up'
(electrically), may provide a shock hazard.
(read the 'cadillac' thread. Situation is exactly
parallel, save that the table is not on rubber
tires.)
