Line filter - wiring up

Hi list,
I found a 15A, 250V line filter in my junkbox but the labelling on it is a 
bit cryptic.  (http://www.hot-streamer-dot-com/temp/linefilter.jpg)  Can someone 
tell me which of A, B, C and D are the line and load sides?  The consensus 
was reached that it was best to put the coil on the load side, right?
