Danny,

What exactly is your question?  AC current is supposed to go go right 
through them.  The normal useage of mmc caps is to place them in 
series.  10 in series would provide .015 ufd at 20,000 volts DC.  10 in 
parallel would provide 1.5 ufd (way too big) at 2,000 volts DC (way too small).
