Great show GREG!
When I ran my MOT's without secondary ballasting with shunts in I really
started to notice heating! I have found that without shunts, MOT run cooler
and more efficent. I've even noticed a small increase in output voltage
too. To control output power you could hook the whole stack up to an arc
welder, or use MO capacitor inductance to ballast the secondary side
without blowing your mains..."if" you really want to get rid of those shunts.
A water cooling jacket also sounds like a great idea, too.
