using 120 on a 220 trannie will give you 1/2 the output voltage... to
get full voltage use a transformer what is known as a Buck/Boost
transformer .... you put 120 into it and will get 220 volts out...
be sure to specify 120 in 220 out if you buy one if you do the scrap
heap search , normally there is sometype of info on it like pri
120 sec 220 etc.
