Dan,
I downloaded the SMARTDRAW free trial and then boot the basic edition. The 
professional edition may give you a larger symbol library than you would ever 
use. I have a large library of electrical/electronic symbols. In addition, 
IMHO (an abbreviation, 
not an acronym :-) )  the SMARTDRAW is  flexible and readily adaptable for 
export to
other programs
