My favorite supplier:

has 1/2 inch thick sheets of 12 x 12 inch G-10 epoxy fiberglass for $50.71
(part number 63407639). Same size in LE is about $37 (63413264)... So the
prices you give are about 3X too high! G-10 is a bit nasty to cut but it
is the "best". Even a large rotary could probably get away with 3/8
material so the 3/8 thick 12 x 12 should be fine (63407621) at $41.19.
Even the super best G-11/FR5 is $60.92 (63408512).
