Murata Electronics Announces Launch Of HPP RF Capacitor Series;
Application Specific Capacitor Offers Increased RF Power to Meet Market
Demands
3/26/2002
SMYRNA, Ga., Mar 26, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Murata Electronics North America
(www.murata-dot-com), a world-leading innovator in electronics, today
announced the launch of its new
HPP (High Performance RF Power) Capacitor Series.
Based on new design and manufacturing processes, this product line
satisfies industry needs for RF
Power capacitors by expanding the capacitance ranges and voltage ratings
with lower ESR and
self-heating characteristics. This is particularly significant for
applications in medical imaging,
semiconductor processing, radar and communication systems and other
related industries.
The series was developed in response to the high value capital equipment
market for processing
semiconductor wafers that uses high RF power electronics. This is
particularly attractive to design
engineers, as they are required to increase power in their new systems.
Circuit applications include
bypass, coupling, tuning, impedance matching and D.C. blocking.
Hmm... high power, low esr, RF capactors? I can think of some other uses
for them....
