In the MKS (meter, kilogram, second) system of units, S = (1/permeability of
free space)(E x B). E is the electric field vector of the source charges, B
is the magnetic field vector, and x is the vector cross product. The
dimension of S is energy per unit time, per unit area or Joule/second/meter
squared. S is an energy flux.
