Dan: O-scopes are of 2 general types, analog and digital.Analog are less
costly. Each type has its limits.Digital scopes work well in computer
circuits and repetitive signals They have many good features, duo trace,
delayed sweep, locked display etc. An analog scope is well suited for non
repetitive trancient and real time displayes. They tend to be less stable,
but are better for scope camera analysis of trancient events.I use both.
