The ASCII didn't come out right for me :( Maybe you could scan and send to
me what you mean ? At the moment my cap is across the DC supply, spark gap
and primary are in series. I did try cap and primary in series with AC a
long time ago and it didn't make any difference. Though it makes me wonder
now that you say series cap and pri if this would actually work better with
DC than AC.....
