	Can't answer the latter, as I don't know what it is, but a word of
caution about charging chokes is in order.  Their windings must have
good enough insulation to stand up at peak voltages equal to the input
voltages, and most filter chokes of which I'm aware don't do that.  They
might work for a while, then short and smoke!.  A charging inductor
using the MOT secondary would not necessarily withstand 9 kV for very
long.  Don't know.
