I just took my identical mots, rated 115V in/ 2800V out, and ran them back
to back. Up to the accuracy of my volt meter, I measured 115V in and 97.5V
out. This is a 15.2% voltage drop. This is not what one would expect from an
isolation transformer. Placing two primaries on the same core will give a
much better isolation transformer.
