Hello, 
I fired up my 4.5 by 20" coil today...with dismal results.  I have 9 saltwater
caps that i swapped in when my real mmc wasn't working.  the spark gap was
firing fine, but no sparks out of the toroid, even with breakout point.  I am
thinking the reason is because the secondary is mounted about an inch about the
flat primary.  is this an issue?
