That's true. I was just thinking about it because someone on ebay was selling
10 GE MO caps claiming he had used them in a TC and that they worked well. So
I was just checking to see what everyone else thought about this, and maybe
try using some of the ones I have but I probably won't now.

MO capacitors simply aren't designed for pulse duty - use them as filter
caps in MOT based power supplies, sure. (They are on a fairly
non-strenuous voltage doubler duty; even then they fail in service.)
Look at the current rating on one of them (often marked), then think of
the currents flying around a TC tank circuit ;-)
