Hi Steve

Sorry no caps but I'm doing an MMC for the same 2 x 15/60 NST's and just
wondering what parameters your designing to. I'm to use 68 nF caps at
1600 VDC rating trying for 25 nF (resonant). So I took transformer peak
voiltage and divided this by 1600 to get the number of series caps then
(rounded up to 14/string) then got 5 strings to give my required
capacitance.

Is this your approach? I'm concerned about enough saps/string to handle
the voltage.

Cheers, Chris.

Well,

As i go to order more capacitors to add onto my bank that i already
have, i
find that Allied Electronics doesnt sell it anymore!! So i call them
and it
seems im really out of luck. I need these specific caps they are GE
part
#42L4683 . They are .068uf at 3000v. I only need 10 more to finish off
the
bank for my 2x15/60 powered coil. I cant afford to start over with a
different cap, i need these. If everyone could even just give me names
of
suppliers who MIGHT carry it, that would be of some help. Any scrap of
information that anyone could give to help me out would really help!! I

dont care where they are located as long as i can order from them.
Thanks

Steve Ward.
