Oops - I goofed
Original poster: "Mccauley, Daniel H by way of Terry Fritz <twftesla-at-qwest-dot-net>" <daniel.h.mccauley-at-lmco-dot-com>
In my calculations for my MMC, i goofed. Each string (15 in
parallel) was 0.022uF, 30kVDC and in my carelessness, i said two strings was
0.011uF. Well, when measuring my cap using the Wayne-Kerr LCR machine (a
nice $30k device) it said i had 0.044uF. And boy was it right.
So now, its a real easy fix, but now i'm stuck with a 0.011uF,
60KVDC MMC. Way overkill!
Well, I guess i could it could easily be changed to accomodate (2)
15kv, 60mA transformers, and definitily accomodate (4) 15kV, 60mA
transformers in parallel.
