Floating Oscilloscopes - DANGEROUS

One thing people must remember when floating a battery powered oscilloscope
that it is EXTREMELY dangerous.  Recently, during a transmitter test, a
technician had floated an oscilloscope on top of a Grid Modulator deck which
modulates the grid of a TWT.  That deck was floating at -45kV.  Anyways, the
technician attempted to adjust the scope while it was being floated and was
actually KILLED.

So be careful out there !
