Dan,
I like using the white HDPE cutting boards, available at most K-Mart, Target
or WallMart type store. This material has just the right amount of "give"
in it, so that copper tubing snaps into holes that are sawed through a
little above their centers. Wonderful stuff to cut, drill, etc.
