Dan,

My wife and I have been coiling together for several years now. She has
sanded forms, hand turned our 18" diameter secondary while I laid on the
wire, lugged tools and parts during setup at shows, built our large toroid,
etc... It's mainly my hobby since I have been learning all the science and
math behind these wonderful devices but she really likes the coils and has
a lot of fun working with me on them.

I think the one thing that helped out most in this endeavor was to include
her in the design and building process as well as the running of the
coils. We have done several shows where she operated the coil in front of
50-1000 people. She seemed to really enjoy that aspect of it.

I'm not sure of the details of your situation but it may help if you can
include her in the hobby and make it something you do together.

Hope this helps,

Chris
