Kamil,
Your ballast resistor wastes power equal to the current squared times the
ohms. So if you are drawing 10 amps, you will be throwing away about 1,500
watts of power which otherwise could go into your TC streamers. So yes, an
inductive ballast will improve your performance assuming your TC can stand
the extra power going into it.
