First Tesla Coil

Hi,
 
I m new to Tesla Coil building. I have allways had an intrest in High Voltage
and built my own solid state high voltage step up last year. I want to build my
self a Solid State Tesla coil but dont know where to start. I have a good
knowlege of electronics. Any body got any ideas where i should start? Any tips
and advice would be nice.
 
I went to the Teslathon in 2000 (missed the 2001 teslathon) and planning to  go
to the next one. That is where i decided i wanted to build a coil!
