Now that I never knew. Well, atleast I know now. I'll be more careful from
now on. Btw, with a small very badly constructed coil powered by a flyback
circuit with a 12v 1a rated input, do I need to worry too much about burns?
I would guess I wouldn't need to worry too much, but I know the risk is
still there.

Tickling is actually low level pain that is masked by anticipation.
Normally a tickling sensation is induced by someone we know, hence an
anticpation of
"safety".
Plesae do not be lured in by familiarity. It can kill , especially when
you're not expecting it.
