Hi JW, all

I was using my 2 copier xfmrs in series, with the inner secondary wires
tied together and floating. The primaries were wired in anti-parallel
(MOT style). I don't know how much they were pulling, but I was running
them on a 15 amp breaker with no problem. I was using two 500 watt
wireround resistors as chokes.

As for the MOT supply, I used 2 xfmrs with primaries in anti-parallel,
and the secondaries in series, with cores tied together. I used the
standard voltage doubling circuit with MO diodes, but I used 2.5 uF
doubler caps (too big, since I toasted all my diodes within 5 sec. :-0
). I'm going to buy a bunch of small diodes this weekend and string
them together, so that I can still used the big caps. I don't know how
much the MOTs were pulling either, but they were running on seperate 15
amp circuits.

Have fun!
	Winston
