let's review our prefixes shall we?
Exahertz = 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 ie. one quintillion cycles per second
Petahertz = 1,000,000,000,000,000 ie. one quadrillion cycles per second
Terahertz = 1,000,000,000,000 ie one trillion cycles per second
Gigahertz = 1,000,000,000 ie. one billion cycels per second (most computers
now run at one
or two gigahertz
Megahertz = 1,000,000 ie. one million cycles per second
Kilohertz = 1,000 ie. one thousand cycles per second (most tesla coils
operate at these
frequencies)
Hertz = 1 ie. one cycles per second (your line frequency is 50 or 60 hertz,
much lower than
a tesla coil)
Millihertz = .001 hertz ie. one cycle every thousand seconds
Microhertz = .000001 hertz ie. one cycle every million seconds
Nanohertz = .000000001 ie. one cycle every billion seconds
Picohertz = .000000000001 ie. one cycle every trillion seconds
Femtohertz = .000000000000001 ie. one cycle every quadrillion seconds
Attohertz = .000000000000000001. ie one cycle every quintillion seconds.
at one Femtohertz that is one cycle every 32 million years!
you might be talking about Petahertz or 1,000,000,000,000,000 cycles a
second. a single
cycle at one Petahertz takes one Femtosecond. just thought i'd clear that up.
