Safety and footwear

A couple thoughts....

1. Given dry conditions, wouldn't just about ANY footwear insulate to well
beyond 600V?

2. Would you really trust it? I rip thorugh at least 3 pair of shoes a year
with UET work and Lugeing (haw many times a year do YOU set your feet on
fire :) ). All it would take is one small hole and a little sweat and you've
got a problem.

Just a thought.
