	Advice - When there are lightning discharges anywhere within miles
never use one to measure the chracteristics of a transmission line
connected to an antenna!

They are used to measure complex impedances but only at
> tiny power levels.  Many uses for coiling, but only without power applied.

	I agree with that.  I thought the discussion was making measurements on
coils making nice big arcs.  By the way, all of the questions here about
garage door openers, computers near coils, etc. etc. make me wonder what
people are thinking.  Some of Richard Hull's groups tapes showing arcs
going into the ceiling, the walls, the light fixtures, the bench
grinder, etc. always astonished me.  I would have thought there would
have been almost total destruction and many fires.  Richard did say that
there had been fire problems, but didn't seem too concerned.
