Hi Collin,
66nF is a big cap and you smaller coil probably has a fairly high frequency so
2.5 turns is not that surprising. I seem to remember Jeff's big coil that does
20 foot arcs is using like 3 or 4 turns. The number of turns does not mean too
much by itself as long as it tunes.
