Original poster: "Tim J by way of Terry Fritz <twftesla-at-qwest-dot-net>" <digital_raven45-at-hotmail-dot-com>
Tim's coil specs:
~120 turn secondary (#16 "nylon coat" single strand wire)
~4 or so turns primary
~50 nF 45 kVDC homebuilt stack bucket cap....WORKS EXTREMELY WELL!!!
~4 seriesed (1400 watt draw Toshiba MOT's on 120V/60A service) for
8 - 9 kVAC-----!!whole setup under mineral oil!! ARC IN JACOBS LADDER CAN
GROW TO 3ft!!!! BIG OUTPUT POWER!!! Not sure on milliamperage output but I'm
guessing its above 400 mA!!!
I may add 2 more MOT's in series to get 13 kVAC...slightly insain current
draw.
~3600 rpm 120v 8A RSG (6 electrodes)
~ 2, 15 kV 1000 pF rated disc caps with 25 mH RF chokes as protection
curcuit
~ TESLA MAGNIFIER (2250 turn #27 mag wire with 12" dia toroid and smaller 4"
dryer ducting charge collector at base of coil)

Haven't had time to play with the coil yet, but I'm hoping it works alright.
Any suggestions out there??????
