Hi Jim,
I used a single OBIT with a pair of .004uF x 20KV "hockey puck" caps
on a coil with a 2" x 13" winding on a 15" high PVC form. Topload was 4 - 3"
water heater vent duct angles connected into a sort of octagonal toroid forming
a halo around a copper toilet tank float. The gap was 2 - 1" brass ball finials
from lamp tops in a wooden box with a cobalt glass window. Primary was a 6"
daim x 9 turn high helix of bare #6 copper ground wire.
Streamers were about 12-14"
