Logically, you are correct. I have looked at the secondary dimensions on my
spreadsheet and in fact the Minimum diameter was 2.894630527" and the Max
dia was 2.938630527" (pardoning the unnecessary digits which are the result
of calculating to sixteens of an inch on a spreadsheet!) so in reality the
minimum diameter is not bigger than the maximum,contrary to common sense.

The Wire dia was of course 0.022
equal to (Max dia/" - Min dia/")/2.
