Hi Michael
I think if you do what the folks on the list have said you will be in great
shape.
The pri and sec coils are the least or you worries, from my point of view.
Cap sizes are easily obtained by one of the programs or the Geek's MMC chart.

The two things that are going to be the most important to your TC efforts
are the transformer and the spark gap. 7.5 kV is to low for my taste. The
power is not a problem but I think that a higher voltage transformer is
going to allow wiggle room in your spark gap construction. I got a 7.5KV
NST and had a heck of a time setting the gaps. With a multi gap like the RQ
gap each gap has got to be set with a sparkplug gaper. I also hade
maddening quenching problems. I should tell you that I was using a 7.5/120
nst. (It's for sale)
If you were going to go ahead and make a triggered gap it isn't an issue.
But 10KV to 15KV is much easier to work your gap around. And because the
gap affects performance so much, it's nice to be able to tweak it without
worries as to if it will fire or quench.
Really interested how it turns out
Read you later
