New secondary progress

Hello all,

Just finished winding the new secondary and gave it its first coat of
poly. Unfortunately, I slightly overestimated the amount of wire I
had and only had enough for 1170 turns, as opposed to the 1400 I
wanted. Still, I think it will work fine. I've learnt alot since
destroying the last two (it's amazing how quickly you can destory a
10kW powered coil - especially if you can't see the racing arcs on
the back side :)) The form is thinwall 305mm diamter PVC. I'm going
to solder in the last string of my MMC (I originally left one string
out to keep as spares, but the thing hasn't arced over, and doesn't
even get warm) so I will have a whopping 0.15uF. Just wait for the 12
footers! Video soon.
