Someone posted something referring to Ebay Item # 1761043912 which was a
potential transformer good for tesla coil use.

This transformer is actually a current transformer, not a potential
transformer.  It is used to measure current only.

I suppose you could use it for current readings in tesla coil use, but not
to use as a high voltage power source.
