I used copper leads in my salty
and got corrosion before I ran the caps the first time...NK
they seem to corrode where the salt water meets the mineral oil
perhaps it is due to trapped air present at that layer / level..
Also If you use a copper to aluminum electrode you will get corrosion
I used this type of connection for my ground against advice from
an engineer..
Trust me aluminum touching copper plus voltage equals corrosion...
= bad ground and bad sparks...replaced the al with a copper connector
also it seems
copper plus salt water plus air equals corrosion....
TC = electrical + materials engineering
