Action Movie XXX HV effects

There were some HV "Tesla Coil" effects in a club scene of the 
action movie "XXX". I scanned the credits (was the last one leaving 
the theater) and could not find who did the effects, or even if they 
were "real" (or animation).

Whatever, they were fairly elaborate, in keeping with the general
"over the top" level of the movie action.

Does anyone have in insight or information on who did the HV 
effects?
