New Inductance Formula

Original poster: "David Thomson by way of Terry Fritz <twftesla-at-qwest-dot-net>" <dave-at-volantis-dot-org>

In order to make the new inductance formula work with cones and flat spirals
only one minor change is needed. Instead of using the radius as in a solenoid
coil, the radius should be the average radius.

In a cone wound from the vertex to the base, the average radius is half the
radius of the base. In a solenoid the average radius is the radius of the
coil. In a flat spiral coil wound out from the center the average radius is
again half the radius. Thus this formula is well suited for trigonometric
functions as well.

I hope you guys are checking this out. This is truly a significant discovery
in Tesla coiling.
