What you're really looking for is a small fan that's cheap... performance
isn't critical.
Source #1: Dead PC... The power supply has a 12V muffin fan in it. You'll
have to cobble up a 12V DC supply, though..
Source #2: Hardware store, get a bathroom ventilator fan (under $10)..
Source #3: Electronic "surplus" places.. All Electronics has them
(http://www.allcorp-dot-com/), so would others..
Source #4: Small AC fan for "personal cooling", like you see people
clamping to their desks, etc. Check 99c stores, K-mart, places like that.
Also, I am in the process of building a

Assuming you mean a RQ "GAP", as in spark gap.. It's a bunch of pipes
inside another pipe..... Personally, I'd build the thing laid out flat on
a piece of plastic or something. Easier to adjust the gaps, cool, clean,
etc... Here's some "ASCII ART"
O O O O
---------------------
O is a piece of pipe
----------- is the piece of insulating whatever you glue/screw/attach the
pipes to. Axes of the pipes are all parallel to each other. Make sure the
ends are smooth.
Wrap this flat thing in a circle with the pipes on the inside and you have
a RQ gap.
