RE: Jacketed Coil

Hi Robert,

I set up the coil today and it works great. There are absolutely no visible
losses in the secondary system at all (except the terminal of course.) I
just hooked it up without taking any measurements at all and it threw out 8"
to 10" sparks. Later today I'll measure the inductance of the coil and see
if I can beef it up a bit.

Dave

Dave : keep us posted. I have used plastic rings on the secondary but never
oil or polyurethane. Thanks for the project. good luck
