Yeah, that's what I thot. As I have zilch experience doing this, I assume
that what most coilers use is more like the strip-milled BX or Greenfield
conduit which is the form of the
dryer ducting I saw at Lowes, and what I think most of the coilers use. So
based on all my experience with
toroid making, I think the McMaster-Carr "superflex" is going to work out
pretty well.
The aluminum tape is one good possibility. Kinda pricey, tho.
The nature of the stuff I have is such that I think it will produce two neat
fitting ends.
With a little burnishing I think a wide duct tape is worth a first try.
Thanks for your help. I'll get back to the list with my results if I'm
