Hi All 
Need some enlightenment perhaps from a NEC-familar person. (National Electric
Code, not Nippon Electric Co. who made my 21" monitor) According to local home
improvement store (Lowe's) 10/3 wire is adequate for 30 AMP service. However,
their 50ft 10/3 power cords are only rated for 20Amps. Is this excessive
conservatism, or am I missing something??
